A little about Bergamot...

Cold pressed from the fruit of the Bergamot tree, Bergamot smells like the sweet combination of orange, grapefruit and florals. It is often used to promote relaxation and help with mental clarity. Bergamot blends well with: lemongrass, lavender, orange, peppermint, rosemary, or eucalyptus.

Description: The Bergamot tree can grow up to four meters high, with star-shaped flowers, and smooth leaves, bearing citrus fruit resembling a cross between an orange and a grapefruit, but in a pear shape. The fruit ripens from green to yellow. The name Bergamot is derived from the city Bergamo in Lombardy where the oil was first sold.

Aromatic Summary: The aroma is basically citrus, yet fruity and sweet with a warm spicy floral quality, and is reminiscent of Neroli, giving a middle note of medium strength.

Blends With: Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Lime, Stress Free, Pure Love.

Cautions: We do not recommend consuming essential oils orally. Dilute before use; may cause skin irritation in some individuals, so a skin test is recommended prior to use. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. For best results Diffuse or use topically with a carrier oil.
